LibrePay is now running on its own home: librepay.tech. Merchants can sign up with just an email address, connect a watch-only wallet or generate a seed in their own browser, and start accepting Bitcoin — on-chain and Lightning — in minutes.
We built LibrePay around one stubborn idea: accepting Bitcoin should not require surrendering your keys, your customers' privacy, or a percentage of your revenue. So there is no custody, no KYC, no phone numbers — and no percentage. Ever.
What ships today
- Stealth addresses per invoice — every payment lands on a unique, unlinkable address derived via ECDH from your payment code. Chain observers cannot tie your invoices together.
- Lightning from YOUR node — connect your own phoenixd; invoices carry both rails side by side.
- Watch-only mode — paste a zpub, keep the seed offline forever, derive fresh addresses without ever exposing spending keys.
- Six full languages — English, Arabic (full RTL), Spanish, Portuguese, French and Filipino — the platform itself, not machine-translated marketing pages.
- Fixed sats pricing — plans are anchored to USD but you pay in Bitcoin, with the rate locked at the moment you create the payment.
- Signed webhooks + REST API v1 — everything a store, a SaaS, or a WooCommerce shop needs to automate fulfillment.
